Why does this fucking site exist?

Well… that’s complicated. Like many during the COVID-19 pandemic, I spent some time reflecting on how much easier this tech bullshit used to be- back when it was a tool, an extension, of humanity, not a means by which to control it. This in-progress relaunch is going to talk a bit about how we used to do things, how you can still do them, and how they let YOU take back control from googlmetapplsoft, inc.
