This URL was originally purchased during the dark days of COVID (because that’s over, right? ::unamused::) and I regressed into a time when life was simpler- I drug my Tandy back out, I repaired my Palm Pilot, and spent a fuckton (that’s metric, not standard) of time evaluating my relationship with modern tech. It was a period of self-reflection, one I’m grateful for, as it’s permitted me the ability to look at whether or not the world is continuing to improve through the never-ending push of modern tech.

It’s not. In fact, it’s getting worse. MUCH. WORSE. We’ll look at the legacy of big tech, from the 80s on, in aspects of personal computing, connectivity, productivity, and many other -ivities. We’ll look at how all of these things are psychologically ruining the next generation, leaving them ill-equipped to do everything from answer phone calls to fucking (yeah, I went there).
